| Tobago Dive Experience was one of the first dive centres to establish itself on Tobago, when Sean Robinson set up business back in 1988. Since then TDE has established itself as the biggest dive centre on the island, with centres in Plymouth (here at Arnos Vale in the South) and Speyside (in the North). The south of Tobago is ideal for calm beautiful waters, where both divers and snorkelers will be astounded by the abundance of fish and coral, all within a short distance of the coast line. In fact, the bay directly in front of our dive centre, is one of the top three places to snorkel on the island. There is also the Maverick Wreck for divers to explore, which is a purposely sunken ship, at Mt. Irvine, making this an ideal dive. | |||||||||||||
| All of our boats have canopies to protect you from the sun, but don't worry as most of the boat journeys are short, with most of the dive sites between 5 and 20 minutes from the shore. We operate a two tank dive in the morning from 9:30am, which usually means we can get you back to your hotel for 1:00pm, leaving your afternoon free, unless you choose to dive again with us during the afternoon. In the North is the sleepy fishing village of Speyside, which is the home to our other dive centre, as Speyside is a Mecca for divers coming to Tobago. If you would also like to visit there, then don't worry we have vehicles travelling to Speyside almost every day, so we can take you, and have you back at Arnos Vale Hotel, in time for tea. | |||||||||||||
| If on the other hand, you are new to diving, or have never dived before, we also have complete training facilities, and instructors on hand to teach you. Arnos Vale Bay is perfect for teaching, with a sheltered, shallow bay ideal for training or an introduction to diving. We are also Scubapro and Mares dealers, and both shops have full diving equipment ranges for sale. We also offer beach BBQs combined with snorkelling trips, or fishing trips. Tobago waters are not mass fished, unlike other places in the world, so there are plenty of large fish around for divers to see, as well as for fishermen to catch. | |||||||||||||
